So pretty much a couple weeks to get him signed to a deal where he could retire any time without the cap hit staying on the books. Otherwise he'll be on an over-35 deal. Considering what his cap hit will be like, that's a big deal.

I've been a die hard hockey fan since the mid-80s and I've seen my share of super stars in all those years, but Ovi holds a special place in my heart. Keep it rolling! I would love to see him even approach the Great One's goal scoring record.

Always loved Alex’s game and that amazing shot. I’m hopeful he sticks around long enough to surpass Gretzky on the all time goal scoring list. Being a Devils fan, I have no love for that Mickey Mouse

I actually don't think he should try for 99's goal scoring record. I think he should go for the Tony Hawk and be the first player to get 900. At his current pace and even with a decline it's absolutely possible
